If we win a trophy and finsih well why would he want to carry on. Especially as he will be guranteed a coaching position.
I did love his Cruyff turn , his ball to Yarmo penalty and some of his passes were class. Think his long ball out to Coufal for the cross to Perkins was Gerrard Class.

Obviously, Noble is one of our ‘own’, but I remember too often him being dispossessed and giving away goals or his lunges on the edge of the penalty giving away free kicks that have led to goals.
Power to his elbow but he should stick with his decision, otherwise his legacy might be tarnished, like Bobby Moore’s during his final season with us when he made one too many mistakes.

Noble looked good because Vienna was shit and Soucek bossed the midfield.
Should have played one from the u23 instead.

He did a Cruyff turn against Vienna and surprised me with his pace to get away from the defender.
A few mins later, he tried it again and conceded possession in our third.

If he wants one more season, who can argue with that. He Will know it will be as a bit part player. He doesn't want to leave as things are at the moment and wants to be involved.
If handled and managed in the right way, I am happy with that and just hope his last playing game is at home in front of 60,000 West Ham fans.

Bossing the midfeild against Rapid Vienna ain't the same as against most PL teams.

Noble was excellent last night but best to call it a day on a high... would be fantastic if he and Declan can lift a trophy together this season.
Should definitely be a place on the coaching staff for him next season though, with the U23s perhaps.

So tempting to say yes. He has words in ears and is an excellent big Brother/kindly Uncle to Declans current relevant approach to keeping the team together.
But ultimately This season is proving to be just the right mix of practicality and sentimentality and I want to remember him like that as a player, not was loyal but tried to play too long and was ineffective at the end.
If he still wants to play someone mentioned MLS, think that would be a fitting finale but, ultimately badges and sticking around the backroom please.

I reckon a season or 2 somewhere like the MLS is pretty much nailed on, for him.
He deserves it. A nice top up for the retirement fund, and some decent weather.
